Auto Supplier Moving on Greencastle Investment

An auto parts manufacturer is eyeing a multi-million dollar boost in Greencastle. The Banner-Graphic reports IAC Greencastle has received a 10-year tax abatement on the purchase of $8.8 million in new equipment.

Officials say the expansion will help retain 466 jobs and may result in the return of 255 positions at the plant.

The company says the project was prompted by new contracts.

Hiring and rehiring is expected to begin by the end of this year.
