Rankings Place Indiana Schools Among World's Best

A higher education research company has placed three universities in Indiana among the top 300 in the world. Quacquarelli Symonds has included Purdue University, the University of Notre Dame and Indiana University in this year's QS World University rankings.
The list takes into account academic reputation, global research and teaching standards.

Purdue is the leading school in the state on the list at 85, while IU is ranked 216 and Notre Dame is number 223.

QS has been ranking universities since 2004. It considered more than 2,000 schools this year.
