Vincennes Robotics Lab to Boost Training
A new $9 million training facility is expected to help Vincennes University enhance its connection with businesses in the state. Vincennes President Dick Helton says the ABB Robotics Training Lab will play a key role in the training and retraining of Hoosier manufacturing workers, making the school even more helpful to business and industry partners throughout Indiana.University officials held a dedication for the lab last week.
Vincennes support of the manufacturing base in Indiana is also expected to be boosted by a logistics facility planned for Gibson County, which is home to the Toyota facility in Princeton.
Helton says both facilities should play a key role in Indiana's efforts to "evolve a qualified work force."
