The Council for American States in Europe together with BABC in Yorkshire and the Humber and BABC in the Midlands are organising two "Invest in USA" seminars in the UK.
Those attending will:

  • Hear from Aaron Brickman, Director of Invest in America at the US Dept of Commerce in Washington, who will provide an overview on how his organisation promotes foreign direct investment into the US and how you can benefit from this.
  • Discover what's happening in the US economy and about the long term opportunities that exist through Obama’s Fiscal Stimulus Package from Andrew Hinton, UK Trade & Investment Business Specialist USA.
  • Hear from a local company who has experienced recent entry into the USA.
  • Meet the Representatives from individual US States who will help you identify which State can offer you the best incentives and opportunities for your business.
  • Meet the representatives from the Commercial Service at the US Embassy
  • Have opportunities  to network with other businesses and discuss  the challenges and opportunities of investing in the US

The seminars take place at the Malmaison Hotel in Leeds on Tuesday 28th September and at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Birmingham on Wednesday September 29th.
