More Alternative Energy on the Horizon For Indiana
Another wind farm in Indiana is expected to be announced today. Representatives of Indianapolis-based Performance Services will be joined by Tippecanoe County Commissioners and Greater Lafayette Commerce officials to announce a project on farmland in the northwest part of the county. The company's original plans called for a $115 million investment, although that amount is expected to be reduced to comply with zoning requirements.
The development is tentatively named Performance Park and could include approximately 24 turbines generating 50 megawatts of electricity.
