Abengoa BioEnergy Madrid, Spain, which has its U.S. headquarters in St. Louis, has invested $300 million in constructing an ethanol plant in Madison, IL.  This investment has created 80 direct jobs with the knock on effect of 900 indirect jobs.  There are plans to build a second ethanol plant in IL and construction will start in about one year’s time.   "
