Australian firm to build $29 million plant in Kanawha County >

Carbonxt Inc. announced plans to construct a $29 million plant to convert coal into an activated carbon product. The 45,000-square-foot facility will be built on acreage leased from Bayer CropScience in Institute. The plant will eventually employ 45 workers. Carbonxt Inc. is a subsidiary of Carbonxt Group Limited of Australia.
