Vestas Chooses Chicago for its North American procurement Office

Vestas is the the largest manufacturer of wind energy turbines in the world with over 35,000 units installed globally.  The American market has brought about several contracts in wind energy farms.  Illinois has succeeded in attracting  the company’s U.S. headquarters and procurement office for north America which will be in Chicago and which will employ 20 people for the outset rising to 40 people by February 2009.
